Punta Gorda’s Military Heritage Museum lists gallery hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at 900 West Marion Avenue. Admission is $18 for ages 15 and older, $14 for veterans and $10 for children five through 14.

Active-duty military personnel and children younger than five enter free. General admission includes galleries and exhibits along with the museum’s flight-operations simulator room, virtual-reality experience and smokeless laser range; some special programs have additional fees.

Saturday visitors can also check the listed Bell UH-1H Huey cockpit-tour window of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Confirm activity availability before visiting by checking the museum’s page or calling 941-575-9002. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter are listed closure days.
