TEAM Punta Gorda’s bicycle loan program makes more than 40 yellow bikes available free to residents and visitors. The nonprofit maintains the bicycles with support from the city, local businesses and individual donors.
Its current page lists participating locations at Sheraton Four Points, Springhill Suites by Marriott, the Military Heritage Museum, Fresco Coffee Shop and Wild Orchard Gift Shop. The program has operated since 2010.
Contact a participating location before planning a ride to confirm bike availability and its checkout procedure. A free loan is useful for trying a waterfront outing without bringing a bicycle, but pickup depends on the location you choose.
